Job Description
Are you mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn a specialized trade? Leisure Bowling & Billiards Whitby is seeking a motivated Bowling Alley Pinsetter Mechanic Trainee to join our dedicated maintenance team. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with the skills needed to become a proficient pinsetter mechanic. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about technical work and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to inspect, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on automatic pinsetter machines and related bowling equipment.
- Assist senior mechanics with repairs, part replacements, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all bowling equipment, including lanes, pins, and ball returns, are in optimal working condition.
- Respond promptly to machine malfunctions during operating hours, under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the center.

- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
Preferred Qualifications
