Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Temporary Fence Erector to join our Karratha team. This is an outdoor manual role that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of various temporary fencing systems across our project sites in and around Karratha. Full training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in our systems and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload fencing materials and equipment from vehicles.
- Install temporary fencing systems according to site plans and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on installed fencing.
- Dismantle temporary fencing upon project completion or as required.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and WHS regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist with other general site duties as directed.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a construction or industrial environment.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manual labour, construction, or outdoor role.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- First Aid certification.
- Experience operating small plant equipment (e.g., skid steer, forklift).
