Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain security and order within the prison, ensuring the safety of staff, prisoners, and visitors.
  • Supervise and manage prisoners, encouraging constructive behaviour and participation in rehabilitation programs.
  • Conduct regular patrols and searches to prevent prohibited items and maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Complete accurate reports and documentation regarding prisoner behaviour, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies.
  • Support prisoners in accessing services and addressing their needs, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Adhere to all prison policies, procedures, and national legislation.

Preferred Qualifications
