Job Description
Embark on an exciting career as a Trainee Fleet Mechanic through our comprehensive Apprenticeship programme. No prior experience is required; we provide full training and support to help you develop into a skilled mechanic. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, ensuring our vital fleet remains operational and safe for the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Shadow and observe senior technicians during complex repair procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Document work performed accurately and efficiently.
- Attend all required training sessions and complete apprenticeship coursework.
- Develop a strong understanding of various vehicle systems and components.
