Job Description
Guardian Security Solutions is looking for dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Security Guards in Scottsdale, AZ. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for those looking to start a rewarding career in security, as we provide comprehensive paid training and even cover the cost of your security guard license! No prior experience in security is required. We are committed to fostering talent and providing a clear path to success for all our employees. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, both on foot and via vehicle, to ensure the security of property and personnel.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems for any suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately.
- Control access to facilities, verify credentials, and direct visitors as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures on the client's premises.
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Required Skills
- No prior security experience necessary (full training provided)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent observational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical duties as required
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- A strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Previous customer service experience
- First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained during training)
