Job Description

Target Corporation is excited to offer a full-time Trainee Forklift Driver position at our Concord, CA distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required training programs to develop proficiency in forklift operation and safety procedures.
- Safely and efficiently move, stack, and retrieve products and materials using various types of forklifts (once certified).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and other vehicles.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
- Accurately complete paperwork and logs related to material movement.
Required Skills
- No prior forklift experience required – full training provided.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (even in non-forklift roles).
- Basic computer literacy.
