Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training programs and workshops.
  • Under supervision, assist individuals with mental health challenges in their daily living activities.
  • Learn to implement client care plans and support strategies.
  • Provide emotional support and encourage client independence and well-being.
  • Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the supervisory staff.
  • Assist with facilitating therapeutic activities and social engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records as per AHS guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Previous volunteer experience in a care-giving or support role (not required, but an asset).
