Job Description

You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently sorting mail and parcels during night shifts, playing a crucial role in our delivery network. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort letters, parcels, and packages according to postal codes and destination routes.
- Operate sorting machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after receiving full training.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Load and unload mail and packages from vehicles and conveyor belts.
- Perform quality checks on sorted items to minimize errors and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) regularly and performing tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for night shift operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new sorting methods and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working night shifts (though not required, it is considered an asset).
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse or operational setting.
