Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Trolley Collection Hand to join our team at our Sunshine local centre. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and return of shopping trolleys from around the car park and store premises, maintaining tidy trolley bays, and assisting customers when needed. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and a willingness to work outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect shopping trolleys from various locations within the car park and store perimeter.
- Efficiently return trolleys to designated bays and store entrances.
- Perform regular checks of trolley bays to ensure they are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Assist customers with trolley-related inquiries or issues in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any damaged trolleys or potential hazards to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, pushing, and lifting, for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a tidy environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (beneficial but not essential).
