Job Description
Are you a skilled and responsible driver with a passion for the open road? Enterprise Rent-A-Car is looking for dedicated Vehicle Relocation Drivers to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles between various Enterprise branch locations, dealerships, and service centers. This position requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently. Travel is an inherent part of this role, as you’ll be driving vehicles to new lots across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently drive vehicles to and from various company locations, including branches, dealerships, and maintenance facilities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, branch managers, and other team members.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles being relocated.
- Manage time effectively to meet relocation schedules.
- Assist with other duties as assigned, which may include light vehicle preparation.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to drive multiple vehicle types (sedans, SUVs, vans).
- Excellent sense of direction and familiarity with GPS devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including entering and exiting vehicles multiple times a day.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a driving or transportation role.
- Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area road network.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to identify potential vehicle issues.
