Job Description
Are you looking for an independent role where you can manage your own route and enjoy the open road? Midlands Vending Solutions is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Vending Machine Snack Restocker. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing a network of vending machines throughout a designated route in Stafford and the surrounding areas. A company van will be provided for your daily tasks, allowing you to efficiently manage your schedule and ensure our customers always have their favourite snacks and drinks. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an organised individual eager to start a new career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a designated route of vending machines.
- Restock vending machines with a variety of snacks, beverages, and other products.
- Collect cash from machines and record transactions accurately.
- Clean and ensure the proper functioning of vending machines.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and report any major technical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels in the company van.
- Provide excellent customer service to site contacts and address any immediate concerns.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding route performance and inventory needs.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence with a clean record.
- Ability to lift and carry stock items (up to 25kg).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in route delivery, merchandising, or inventory management is a plus, but not essential.
- Familiarity with the Stafford area and surrounding regions.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
