Job Description
Join the Bunnings Hervey Bay team as a Part-time Warehouse Assistant, working consistent morning shifts from Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone reliable, eager to learn, and looking for stable part-time hours in a dynamic retail and logistics environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly, supporting our trade and retail teams by accurately managing incoming and outgoing stock. Full training will be provided, making this a great entry point for individuals passionate about starting a career in warehousing and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities against invoices and identify any discrepancies.
- Organise and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Pick and prepare orders for customer collection or dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and trolleys (training provided if required).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assist with stocktake and inventory control procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic computer literacy.
- Current forklift license (LF/LO) highly regarded but not required for this role.
