Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Janitorial Staff member to join our team in Red Hook, St. Thomas. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, take pride in a clean workspace, and are capable of working independently. As a key part of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our warehouse facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all staff. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the warehouse.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas regularly.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelving, and equipment.
- Maintain cleaning supply inventory and request new supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with other ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
