Job Description
Join Amazon as a Warehouse Worker for our night shifts in Charlotte, NC! We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to become an essential part of our fulfillment center team. This is an entry-level, full-time position, and no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. As a key member of our operations, you’ll help ensure our customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently, contributing to a seamless logistics chain in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products in designated locations efficiently and accurately.
- Pick customer orders using handheld scanners and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack items securely and label packages for delivery.
- Sort and consolidate packages for various shipping routes.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Operate material handling equipment safely after receiving proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 49 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (10-12 hours per shift).
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with excellent attendance.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- No prior warehouse experience is required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous experience in a physically demanding or fast-paced work environment.
- Experience working night shifts.
