Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Wealth Manager to join our successful team in Chesterfield. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial aspirations, and providing bespoke wealth management solutions. You will leverage your expertise in financial planning, investment strategies, and market knowledge to guide clients through complex financial decisions, ensuring their portfolios are aligned with their goals and risk tolerance. Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses to understand clients' current situations, future goals, and risk profiles.
- Develop and implement bespoke financial plans covering investments, pensions, inheritance tax planning, and protection.
- Provide expert advice on a diverse range of financial products and services.
- Monitor client portfolios regularly, providing proactive reviews and adjustments as market conditions or client circumstances change.
- Educate clients on market trends, economic factors, and relevant legislative changes affecting their wealth.
- Ensure all advice and transactions adhere strictly to regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities to expand the client base.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Wealth Manager, Financial Advisor, or similar role.
- Demonstrable expertise in investment products, pension planning, and personal taxation.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and economic principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings when required.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4 RDR compliant).
Preferred Qualifications
- Achieved or working towards Chartered Financial Planner status (Level 6).
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex financial structures.
- Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
