Job Description
Join the Bunnings Warehouse team in Geelong as a Wholesale Warehouse Hand and become a vital part of our efficient supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking stable, long-term full-time employment within a supportive and dynamic environment. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our success. No prior warehouse experience is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure you thrive in this role. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth operation of our wholesale distribution, ensuring products are moved and stored safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately and safely
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and possibly forklifts (training provided if required and suitable)
- Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning, organising, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (beneficial but not essential)
- Current forklift licence (highly regarded but training can be provided for the right candidate)
