Job Description

As a Work From Home Logistics Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in optimizing our delivery operations across a designated region. This is a 100% remote position where you will use advanced dispatching software and communication tools to coordinate drivers, manage routes, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages. Your organizational skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage real-time delivery progress for a fleet of drivers.
  • Optimize routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Utilize dispatch software to track vehicles, update delivery statuses, and reassign tasks.
  • Respond promptly to unexpected delays, route changes, or customer inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role (1+ year).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of British Columbia.
  • Proficiency with dispatching software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience with real-time GPS tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Canadian transportation regulations.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
