Job Description

Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an immediate start for individuals who are passionate about cars and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles are spotless and ready for our customers, contributing directly to our reputation for quality service. We welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn; full training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience in car valeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exterior washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicles.
- Conduct interior cleaning including vacuuming, shampooing, and detailing surfaces.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and vehicle trim to a high standard.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure they meet company standards before customer rental.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and supplies.
- Move vehicles safely within the lot as required.
- Report any damage or issues found on vehicles to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing, cleaning, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques.
