Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the exciting world of hospitality? The Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel & Suites is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trainee Receptionist / Front Desk associate. This is a full-time, on-site position where NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. We are committed to providing comprehensive training to help you develop all the necessary skills to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival
  • Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using our property management system
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues or escalate to management as needed
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Learn and adhere to all hotel policies and procedures
