Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips, and document any discrepancies.
- Perform data entry for all received goods into our inventory management system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physically unload, sort, and organize incoming materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Inspect received items for damage or defects and report issues promptly.
- Label and tag items accurately for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth receiving and put-away processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems (training provided).
- Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks (certification not required, training available).
