Job Description
We are seeking empathetic and efficient Remote Dispatcher / Roadside Assistance Agents to join our dedicated team. This is a 100% remote position where you will be the first point of contact for members experiencing vehicle breakdowns or other roadside emergencies. You will handle inbound calls, assess member needs, provide initial troubleshooting, and dispatch appropriate roadside assistance services. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and organize efficiently will be crucial in ensuring our members receive timely and effective support. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this vital role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from NRMA members requiring roadside assistance.
- Listen actively to members' concerns and accurately gather all necessary information.
- Provide clear and concise instructions or advice to members.
- Efficiently dispatch appropriate roadside assistance vehicles (tow trucks, mechanics, etc.) based on location and service required.
- Utilize mapping and dispatching software to monitor job status and provide updates.
- Document all call details and actions taken in the system with accuracy.
- Manage multiple service requests simultaneously, prioritizing based on urgency.
- Communicate effectively with service providers to ensure timely arrival and resolution.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic service.
