Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Operations Data Coordinator to join our team in Goulburn. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of operational data for our civil and mining projects. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on critical project data, providing essential support to project managers and operational teams. Your efforts will directly contribute to informed decision-making and efficient project delivery. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, input, and maintain operational data from various sources related to civil and mining projects.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through regular audits and validation processes.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key operational metrics and trends.
- Assist in the development and improvement of data collection tools and methodologies.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide data support.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of relevant data management systems.
- Contribute to operational efficiency by providing clear, concise, and actionable data insights.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data visualization)
- Demonstrated experience with data entry and management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in the civil construction or mining industry
- Familiarity with project management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
