Job Description
As the Food & Beverage Director – International Sponsorship at our prestigious Marriott property in Alexandria, Egypt, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of our diverse food and beverage operations. This includes restaurant management, bar services, catering, banqueting, and in-room dining, with a special focus on developing and executing strategies for international sponsorship events and partnerships. You will drive culinary excellence, manage budgets, ensure impeccable service standards, and foster a dynamic team environment. Your strategic vision will be crucial in enhancing guest experiences, optimizing revenue, and strengthening our brand reputation through high-profile events and global collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&B team across all outlets.
- Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage departments, ensuring adherence to Marriott's brand standards and service excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for international sponsorship acquisition and event execution, collaborating with marketing and sales teams.
- Manage F&B budgets, forecasting, inventory control, and cost management to achieve financial targets.
- Innovate and enhance menus, beverage programs, and service styles to meet evolving guest preferences and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and potential international sponsors.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on F&B performance, sponsorship ROI, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage management within a luxury hotel or large-scale hospitality environment.
- Proven track record in managing complex F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and catering.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing international sponsorship deals and large-scale events.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of F&B trends, culinary techniques, and service standards.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or advanced certification in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East or North Africa region.
- Established network within international sponsorship circles or event management.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
- Experience with Marriott's operational systems and standards.
