Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Gym Manager to lead our Anytime Fitness Kalgoorlie club. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of club operations, from membership sales and retention to team leadership, facility maintenance, and ensuring an outstanding member experience. The successful candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess strong leadership capabilities, and have a proven track record in management, preferably within the health and fitness industry. You will be responsible for fostering a positive club culture, driving financial performance, and maintaining our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of fitness professionals and club staff.
- Drive membership sales, renewals, and retention strategies to meet and exceed club targets.
- Oversee daily club operations, including opening/closing procedures, facility cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
- Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory control.
- Implement and enforce club policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Engage with members to build strong relationships and address feedback or concerns.
- Organise and promote fitness challenges, events, and community outreach programs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training for staff.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience.

- Strong sales and marketing acumen, with a focus on target achievement.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in gym management software and basic office applications.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Fitness or higher.
- Previous experience in a gym management or assistant management role.
- A degree or diploma in Business Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Anytime Fitness operating systems and protocols.
