Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our evening team at The Northwood Grand Hotel. This crucial role ensures the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the night hours. The Night Porter is responsible for overseeing hotel operations overnight, handling guest inquiries, assisting with arrivals and departures, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
  • Respond to all guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises, ensuring guest safety and building security.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any alarms or incidents.
  • Prepare hotel for the morning shift, including setting up breakfast areas or preparing reports.
  • Perform light cleaning duties and maintain the tidiness of public areas.
  • Handle phone calls and redirect them as necessary.
  • Assist with luggage and other guest needs.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as updating guest records and processing payments.
  • Report any maintenance issues or security concerns to the relevant departments.
