Job Description
Join our vibrant team at Hilton Garden Inn Lethbridge as a Guest Luggage Porter! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and providing outstanding service. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting guests with their luggage within the hotel lobby and common areas. This position does NOT require driving; all duties are performed on foot within the hotel premises. We are looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable individuals eager to contribute to our guests’ positive experience. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those new to the hospitality industry or seeking a role without driving responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage.
- Safely transport guest luggage to and from their rooms and vehicles within the hotel lobby area.
- Assist with opening doors for guests and providing general directions or information about hotel amenities.
- Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are clean and presentable.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and responding to inquiries courteously.
- Collaborate effectively with front desk staff and other hotel departments.
- Handle guest belongings with care and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of the local Lethbridge area attractions and services.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
