Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our environmental team as an Entry Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions Data Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in environmental data management with no prior experience required. You will be responsible for supporting our efforts in tracking and reporting greenhouse gas emissions data. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this vital, office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, validate, and maintain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data into designated databases and tracking systems.
- Assist in the collection and organization of data from various sources relevant to GHG emissions.
- Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all records.
- Generate basic reports and summaries of GHG data for internal review and compliance purposes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for environmental records and documentation.
- Support the environmental team with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- Learn and adhere to company policies, environmental regulations, and data management best practices.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
