Job Description
As the Market Intelligence Lead – Corporate Strategy, you will be instrumental in shaping Suncorp’s strategic direction through comprehensive market analysis. You will lead the research, analysis, and interpretation of market trends, competitive landscapes, customer insights, and emerging opportunities. Your insights will inform critical business decisions, product development, and long-term strategic planning. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and analysis of market intelligence projects to support corporate strategy.
- Identify key market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities across Suncorp's diverse business segments.
- Develop and maintain robust market models, competitor profiles, and customer segmentation analyses.
- Synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to integrate market insights into business initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external market research vendors and ensure data quality and relevance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of market intelligence processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in market intelligence, strategic planning, or business analysis within a large organization.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into strategic insights and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
- High degree of initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
