Job Description
Are you passionate about making vehicles look their absolute best? Tullamarine Toyota is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Car Detailing Assistant to join our dynamic team in Tullamarine. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with no prior experience in car detailing. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, shampooing, and wiping down surfaces.
- Execute exterior washing, waxing, and polishing using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Clean and condition vehicle upholstery, leather, and trim.
- Detail engine compartments and wheel wells.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and address any remaining imperfections.
- Assist with moving vehicles safely around the lot as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Learn and apply new detailing techniques and product knowledge as provided during training.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in car detailing required; full training provided.
- Willingness to learn and a strong desire to master new skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian driver's license (manual preferred, but not essential).
