Job Description
Are you passionate about esports and looking for an exciting entry point into the industry? Vanguard Event Logistics is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Esports Tournament Cable Helpers to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be crucial in setting up and maintaining the technical infrastructure for major gaming arenas and tournament venues. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, are eager to learn, and want to contribute directly to the success of esports events. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those with no prior professional experience but a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of gaming stations, including desks, chairs, monitors, and peripherals.
- Manage, route, and organize a high volume of data, power, and video cables efficiently and safely.
- Perform basic testing of equipment to ensure functionality and report any issues to technical leads.
- Follow floor plans and technical diagrams to accurately place equipment and run cabling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the setup, event, and breakdown phases.
- Work collaboratively with a team to meet strict deadlines and event timelines.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.
- Provide support to technical staff as needed during events.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
