Job Description
Join our dynamic team at the Woolworths Group distribution centre in Wangaratta as a Weekend AM Shifts Warehouse Picker. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking stable part-time work with top hourly rates, contributing to the efficient flow of products to our stores. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring products are ready for dispatch. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Full training will be provided, making this a great role for those looking to start their career in logistics or gain valuable warehouse experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided where necessary).
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment.
- A current forklift license is advantageous but not required.
