Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient RF Scanner Operator to join our dynamic and fast-paced warehouse team in Port Pirie. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to learn and contribute to a critical part of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for accurately scanning, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory within our state-of-the-art facility. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate RF scanning equipment to accurately track and manage inventory.
- Execute picking and packing tasks according to order specifications.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even non-RF scanning roles).
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) highly regarded but not essential.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
