Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport high-end furniture from our depot to customer residences.
- Perform expert, damage-free furniture assembly and installation according to specifications.
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections and post-assembly quality checks.
- Provide exceptional 'white glove' service, including careful placement of furniture and removal of all packaging materials.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, addressing any questions or concerns with solutions-oriented approach.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, especially when handling delicate and expensive items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and tools.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (Category B or higher preferred for larger vans).
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy furniture.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools for assembly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture delivery, assembly, or logistics.
- Experience driving large vans or 3.5-tonne vehicles.
- A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
- Familiarity with London and surrounding area routes.
