Job Description
We are seeking a talented and meticulous Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team, specializing in high-end residential projects. This role involves translating architectural designs into detailed, accurate, and buildable technical drawings that meet both aesthetic aspirations and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in bringing our luxury residential visions to life, working closely with architects, designers, and project managers from concept through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about precision drafting and the creation of exquisite living spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce comprehensive architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, for high-end residential properties.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements and translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Incorporate design changes and revisions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and manage drawing sets for planning applications, tender packages, and construction.
- Coordinate with external consultants (e.g., structural engineers, M&E consultants) to integrate their drawings and specifications.
- Maintain organized digital and physical drawing archives.
- Conduct occasional site visits to verify existing conditions or assess progress.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and standards.
- Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes.
- Ability to interpret architectural sketches and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, V-Ray, Enscape).
- Portfolio demonstrating experience in high-end residential projects.
