Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Prairie Playtime Rentals as a Bouncy Castle Delivery & Setup Specialist! This exciting part-time, weekend role involves the physical delivery, safe setup, and efficient dismantling of bouncy castles and other inflatable attractions. You’ll be the face of fun, ensuring our customers’ events go off without a hitch. This position requires heavy lifting and a strong work ethic, but no prior experience in bouncy castle setup is necessary – we provide comprehensive training! Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload bouncy castles and related equipment onto delivery vehicles.
- Transport equipment to various event locations in Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas.
- Perform professional and secure setup of bouncy castles, ensuring all safety guidelines are met and equipment is properly anchored.
- Provide clear, concise instructions to customers on safe operation and emergency procedures for all rented equipment.
- Efficiently dismantle and pack up bouncy castles and accessories after events, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Conduct basic maintenance checks on equipment before and after rentals, reporting any damages or issues promptly.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times, representing Prairie Playtime Rentals positively.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself, your team, and our customers.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs regularly) and sustained physical labor.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions.
- Reliability and punctuality, essential for meeting scheduled delivery and pickup times on weekends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
- Commitment to safety practices and meticulous attention to detail during setup and dismantling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a pickup truck with a trailer or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with the Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas for efficient route planning.
- Previous experience in customer service, event setup, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments or troubleshooting equipment.
