Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and have a knack for sales? Flight Centre Canada is looking for enthusiastic Virtual Travel Sales Consultants to join our 100% remote team. This is an exciting opportunity to help customers plan their dream holidays from the comfort of your own home, selling a diverse range of travel packages, flights, accommodation, and tours. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel needs, and providing expert recommendations to create unforgettable travel experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Full training on our systems and product offerings will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients virtually (phone, email, video chat) to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Design and sell customized holiday packages including flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and travel insurance.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel logistics, and special offers.
  • Manage bookings, modifications, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on travel industry trends, product knowledge, and supplier promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel industry or selling travel products.
  • Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution System) software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Knowledge of popular travel destinations and suppliers.
  • Post-secondary education in travel, tourism, business, or a related field.
