Job Description

Join our team at McCormick Canada as a Spice Blending & Packaging Worker in our Vaudreuil-Dorion facility. This is a full-time, day shift position in a clean, organized, and genuinely great smelling workplace! You will be responsible for the accurate blending of various spices and ingredients, as well as the efficient packaging of finished products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and a commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately weigh and blend various spice ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Operate and monitor packaging machinery for efficiency and quality.
  • Perform quality checks on blended spices and packaged products.
  • Label and palletize finished goods for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment (an asset, but not required).
