Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Brand Lead to take charge of a key global consumer brand within our portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand’s future, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring market leadership in a competitive landscape. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, managing brand performance, and fostering strong cross-functional relationships to deliver exceptional brand experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust annual brand plan and long-term strategic vision for the assigned global consumer brand.
- Lead the end-to-end management of brand marketing campaigns, including creative development, media planning, and execution across multiple channels.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Manage the brand's P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and optimizing marketing spend for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless brand execution and product innovation.
- Identify and lead new product development initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
- Manage external agency relationships (e.g., advertising, media, PR) to ensure effective delivery of brand objectives.
- Champion the brand internally, ensuring all stakeholders understand and embody the brand's purpose and values.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management or marketing within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand strategies that drive market share growth and brand equity.
- Strong understanding of market research, consumer insights, and analytical tools.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver against financial targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking with a strong commercial acumen.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on a global brand or across multiple international markets.
- Postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business (e.g., MBA).
- Experience with digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms.
