Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Film Set Location Security personnel. This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes in the film industry, providing essential overnight security for valuable equipment, sets, and ensuring the safety of personnel at various film locations in Shediac, New Brunswick. No prior security experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to all successful candidates. This role involves working primarily overnight shifts, ensuring the continuous protection of high-value assets and maintaining a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated film set locations during overnight hours to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
- Secure entry points, gates, and perimeters.
- Conduct regular checks of equipment, props, and set structures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms or incidents, following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure a secure environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company and site-specific security procedures and policies.
- Report any suspicious activities or potential security breaches to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during shifts.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various film set locations in the Shediac area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic First Aid/CPR certification.
- Prior experience in a customer service or public-facing role.
- Familiarity with security procedures or alarm systems (training will be provided).
