Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical E-commerce Data Specialist to join our dynamic team in Goulburn. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to e-commerce sales, customer behaviour, and website performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualise key e-commerce metrics and performance indicators.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to uncover growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on specific product categories, marketing campaigns, and customer segments.
- Provide actionable recommendations to optimize pricing strategies, product placement, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, IT) to implement data-driven solutions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide competitive insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all e-commerce reporting systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data analysis and reporting in an e-commerce environment (2+ years).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, AOV, traffic sources).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and analysis.
- Knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus.
