Join the Woolworths team as a Delivery Driver Assistant! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking for casual day shifts in Gladstone. No prior experience or driver’s license is required – we provide full training to equip you with the skills needed to support our delivery drivers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders efficiently and with a smile, assisting with loading, unloading, and navigating routes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading groceries and other goods from delivery vehicles.
- Help navigate delivery routes and identify customer locations accurately.
- Safely transport items to customer doors, maintaining product quality.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, resolving minor issues or escalating as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle and associated equipment.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and customers.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 20kg) repeatedly.
