Job Description

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable moments and eager to step into the exciting world of wedding planning? The Midland Hotel is seeking a dedicated Wedding Planner Assistant to join our esteemed events team. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with no prior experience in wedding planning, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a crucial supporting role in bringing our couples’ dream weddings to life, working closely with experienced Wedding Planners to assist with all aspects from initial consultations to the big day itself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior Wedding Planners, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining client files.
  • Assist with client meetings, taking notes, and documenting preferences and requirements.
  • Research vendors, obtain quotes, and coordinate with suppliers (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainment).
  • Prepare event timelines, floor plans, and other crucial documents.
  • Assist with wedding day setup and coordination, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage inventory of wedding supplies and promotional materials.
  • Support post-event follow-up, including thank-you notes and feedback collection.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications
