Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join our dedicated fabrication team in St. Cloud, MN. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented welder looking for long-term career growth with full relocation assistance and sponsorship provided for qualified international candidates. You will be responsible for performing advanced welding operations on various stainless steel components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision for critical industry applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin to heavy gauge stainless steel materials according to blueprints, welding diagrams, and specifications.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to design specifications using various measurement tools.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and gas flow for optimal results.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes and resolve technical challenges.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional TIG and MIG welding experience, preferably with stainless steel.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and design specifications.
- Strong understanding of welding principles, metallurgy, and different welding processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with various hand and power tools common in welding and fabrication.
- Commitment to workplace safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational or technical school certification in welding or related field.
- Experience with orbital welding.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or dairy equipment fabrication.
- AWS Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification.
