Job Description

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Cabinet Makers and Carpenters to join our skilled team in Milwaukee. This full-time position is specifically open to candidates requiring skilled worker visa sponsorship, demonstrating our commitment to bringing top talent to our workshops. You will be responsible for crafting and assembling custom cabinetry and various wooden components for our high-quality furniture and interior projects, working with precision and attention to detail to uphold our legacy of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials required for projects.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components to create various furniture pieces, cabinets, and millwork.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and proficiently, including saws, routers, planers, jointers, and sanders.
  • Perform various joinery techniques (e.g., dovetails, mortise and tenon, biscuit joints) for strong and precise construction.
  • Ensure all finished products meet stringent quality standards and design specifications.
  • Apply appropriate finishes to surfaces using sanders, hand tools, and finishing materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure project completion on time and within specifications.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Carpenter.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Skilled in operating a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of wood properties, characteristics, and various joinery techniques.
  • High level of precision, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity required for the demands of woodworking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in woodworking or carpentry.
  • Experience with custom furniture fabrication or high-end millwork.
  • In-depth knowledge of different wood types, finishes, and hardware.
  • Experience with CNC woodworking machinery for precision cutting and shaping.
