Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Venture Philanthropy Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team in Barnsley. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of venture philanthropy and impact investing. You will play a crucial role in supporting our investment professionals across the entire impact lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management and impact assessment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on social enterprises and non-profits, market trends, and impact sectors relevant to our investment thesis.
- Assist with financial analysis and due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities.
- Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of our existing portfolio, tracking key performance indicators and impact metrics.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials and impact reports.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder engagements.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated passion for social impact, philanthropy, or sustainable development.
