Job Description
AgriFresh Solutions is seeking dedicated and reliable Onion Peeling Operatives to join our busy food processing plant in London, Ontario. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay in a supportive factory environment. As an Operative, you will be an integral part of our production line, responsible for the efficient and safe preparation of onions for further processing. We are looking for individuals who are attentive to detail, can work effectively in a fast-paced setting, and are committed to maintaining our high standards of food safety and quality. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized machinery for peeling and processing onions.
- Inspect onions for quality and remove any defective or unsuitable produce.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with food safety standards.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other general production tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of English to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
