Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team in London, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages to our valued customers. We provide a company van, comprehensive training, and offer competitive weekly pay, recognizing the hard work and commitment our drivers bring to the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages across designated routes.
- Perform multiple daily stops, delivering and collecting packages efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, including proof of delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
- Manage time effectively to complete routes within scheduled timeframes.
Required Skills
- Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to navigate using GPS and maps efficiently.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or a similar role.
- Familiarity with the London, Ontario area.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
