Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our thriving team in Peterborough. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of qualified physiotherapists, providing essential support in the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will assist with patient treatment, prepare and maintain clinical areas, and contribute to the smooth running of our physiotherapy services. Key Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists in the delivery of treatment programs, including exercise demonstration and patient support.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
- Monitor and record patient progress as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring it is safe, clean, and in good working order.
- Assist with general administrative duties, including scheduling and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and clinical protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.

- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Basic IT literacy for record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- First Aid qualification.
