Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Director to lead our culinary and event services, with a specific focus on supporting our international sponsorship initiatives. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, vendor management, and operational oversight to ensure the highest quality F&B experiences for all corporate events, executive dining, and sponsored international functions. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, capable of curating memorable gastronomic journeys that align with our brand values and enhance our global partnerships. You will be instrumental in elevating our reputation through world-class hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic F&B plans for all corporate events, executive dining, and international sponsorship activations.
- Manage relationships with F&B vendors, caterers, and suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and logistical coordination of all F&B aspects for events, from concept to post-event analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies.
- Manage F&B budgets, forecasting expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and international relations teams to integrate F&B experiences with broader sponsorship objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of F&B professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of F&B trends, innovations, and best practices relevant to corporate and international events.
- Evaluate event success metrics, gathering feedback to continuously enhance F&B offerings and service delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in F&B management, preferably within a large corporate, luxury hotel, or international event setting.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution of F&B services for high-profile events.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional budgetary and financial management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and catering regulations.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel internationally as required for sponsorship events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with international partners or in cross-cultural environments.
- Certifications in food safety management (e.g., ServSafe Manager).
- Multilingual abilities, especially in languages relevant to our international sponsorships.
