Job Description

Are you passionate about cars and looking for an active role? BCA in Epsom is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Auto Auction Lot Drivers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive a wide variety of vehicles, from everyday cars to luxury models, all day long! You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of vehicles through our auction center, playing a critical role in our operations. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and capable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently move vehicles around the auction site, including parking, staging, and repositioning.
  • Conduct basic visual checks of vehicles for obvious damage or issues before moving them.
  • Adhere to all site safety procedures and traffic management rules.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy vehicle lot.
  • Assist with general site duties as required to support auction operations.
  • Report any vehicle discrepancies or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily operational goals.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle operations and safety principles.
  • No prior experience required; full training provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a driving role or within an automotive environment is a plus, but not essential.
  • Familiarity with various car makes and models.
